Football fans are in for a marquee clash between European heavyweights Paris Saint-Germain and Bayern Munich—this time on unfamiliar, non-European soil. The two sides will meet in the Club World Cup quarter-finals at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta on Sunday morning

This will be the first meeting between the two teams after their 2024/25 Champions League group stage match. While the Bavarians had the last laugh in that game, a lot has happened since then, and PSG will now grace the pitch as the sitting European champions.

It can’t be denied that PSG will be a significant step-up from the teams they have played till now. However, Bayern Munich have the squad depth to outgun PSG, and an in-form Harry Kane could be the difference-maker.
