Best Bets 2025/2026
Thursday night in the States means Friday afternoon NBA action for us here in NZ. I’ve gone through the match ups and nailed down three NBA betting tips that I’m confident on. Read on for my take on a lopsided affair in Indiana, how Bam Adebayo will bounce back, and the game of the night in OKC. Pick and choose what you like, or wrap them all into a multi on NZ betting sites.
Best Bets
| Tips | Odds |
| Suns ML vs Pacers | $1.40 @ VipLuck |
| Heat -6.5 vs Bucks | $1.95 @ Betista |
| Thunder -5 vs Celtics | $2.15 @ Betandplay |
Indiana Pacers vs Phoenix Suns Best Bet
Suns ML | $1.40 @ VipLuck
I know $1.40 isn’t going to get anyone’s pulse racing, but this is a bet I’m comfortable starting my day with.
Indiana are 15-50 and missing Tyrese Haliburton, Ivica Zubac, Pascal Siakam and Andrew Nembhard.
Phoenix, meanwhile, sit at a very healthy 38-27 with Devin Booker putting up just shy of 25 points a game. They just beat Milwaukee on the road by 15 earlier this week.
This is about as big as mismatches get. Yes, it’s a boring bet, but I just can’t see any other outcome here than Phoenix winning.
Miami Heat vs Milwaukee Bucks Best Bet
Heat -6.5 | $1.95 @ Betista
Two days ago, Bam Adebayo eclipsed Kobe’s record and scored 83 points. That puts him second on the all-time list. It’s safe to say there will be an extra little bit of bounce in the Kaseya Center, and I’m interested to see how Miami respond.
The Heat are 8-2 in their last 10 and have won six straight. Norman Powell is out with a groin issue and Tyler Herro is day-to-day, but as Adebayo just showed, that’s no cause for concern.
Milwaukee, on the other hand, are 3-7 in the same window and sit 11th in the East at 27-37. But here’s what I’m really looking at: when they lose, they lose bad. Their last 11 losses have all come by double-digit margins (and many of them have been well over that). I’m taking the Heat to cover this spread, comfortably.
Oklahoma City Thunder vs Boston Celtics Best Bet
Thunder -5 | $2.15 @ Betandplay
OKC are 51-15, best in the league, with Shai Gilgeous-Alexander in record-breaking form.
The Celtics are no mugs either. They’re second in the East on 43-22 and have won seven of their last 10. Jayson Tatum is back now, but he isn’t quite at his peak yet. Bottom line, I just don’t think they’ve got it in them to topple OKS on the road.
I’ll take $2.15 on the best betting apps for the Thunder -5 all day.
