Men’s French Open – Flavio Cobolli vs Learner Tien: Cobolli -1.5 sets | $1.83 with Betista

Learner Tien erupted onto the scene at the Australian Open this year, with his infectious personality and an on-court game to match winning over the hearts and minds of the tennis public as he made his way into the quarter finals. He is now a top 20 player in the world, but has not yet enjoyed the success on clay as he has on the hard court and will be hard-pressed to get close against the 10th seed Flavio Cobolli. Cobolli has cruised his way into the third round with consecutive straight sets wins, in stark contrast to Tien, who has played nine sets across his two matches. Cobolli should be too good here, and can win his way through to the fourth round in either three or four sets at close to even money with most betting sites.

Women’s French Open – Naomi Osaka vs Iva Jovic: Jovic to win | $1.90 with BetandPlay

On paper, this match could hardly be closer, with Osaka the 16th seed and Jovic the 17th at this event. The betting apps have it pegged as exactly that, with little separating the two on the betting front. But while Osaka is the significantly more experienced of the two and is a four-time Grand Slam champion, she has never enjoyed much success at Roland Garros. Incredibly, she’s never made it past the third round, and this is the first time she’s been this deep since 2019. Jovic, at just 18, has a bright future ahead of her, and proved to everyone she’s capable of going deep at Grand Slams at this year’s Australian Open when she made the quarter finals. Against a player who has typically struggled at this event, the young American can continue her breakthrough year with a fourth round appearance at Roland Garros.

Men’s French Open – Matteo Berrettini vs Francisco Comesana: Berretini to win | $1.43 with Zoccer

More of a banker leg to finish here, but one which really should pull through for us. It’s been five years since Matteo Berrettini appeared at the French Open, when he made the quarterfinals back in 2021. Since then he’s been sporadically injured and missed a lot of tennis, but the 30-year-old is back and playing really solidly so far at this event, having cruised through his first two matches, the second of which saw him beat the seeded Frenchman Arthur Rinderknech in straight sets. This is just Comesana’s second appearance at Roland Garros and the first time he’s advanced past the first round, and he's already got plenty of miles in the legs. He was impressive in Round 2 beating the 14th seed, but that was a gruelling five-setter which followed a tight three-setter in Round 1 which included two tiebreaks. Berrettini deserves his favouritism here.
