Brentford vs Nottingham Forest Prediction: Betting Tips & Odds

Brentford vs Nottingham Forest Prediction
Brentford host Nottingham Forest in the Premier League at the Gtech Community Stadium, with kickoff at 4am on Sunday 1 November NZT.
Forest did the league double over Brentford last season, and I can’t ignore that. But they’re 18th now with one league win from eight games, while Brentford are sixth and have lost just once.
In this Brentford vs Nottingham Forest preview, I’ve gone with a simple market at the bottom of the page, and it pays a shade over double your stake. If you’re after football betting tips that don’t rely on a multi, that one’s for you.
Brentford vs Nottingham Forest Analysis
Brentford
Brentford have drawn five of their eight league games, the joint-most in the division alongside Leeds.
Four of those came on the road. At home they’ve looked a lot sharper, beating Tottenham and Chelsea 3-0 with a 1-1 against Sunderland in between, and their only defeat at the Gtech was a 2-1 loss to Liverpool on 17 October.
I like how they line up against this opponent. Igor Thiago is a handful for any back three, and Dango Ouattara finally got off the mark at Hull on 25 October, tapping in Thiago’s pass on 63 minutes to cancel out an Oli McBurnie penalty.
Fitness is my concern. Wednesday’s League Cup trip to Sunderland means this is their third game in six days, so check the team sheet on your NZ betting apps before kickoff.
Team News: Yarmoliuk serves the last game of a three-match suspension, while Janelt is back after a one-match ban. Henry, Furo and Dasilva are out, and Milambo and Schuster are doubts.
Predicted Lineup: Kelleher; Kayode, Van den Berg, Ajer, Lewis-Potter; Sangare, Janelt, Jensen; Ouattara, Thiago, Schade.
Nottingham Forest
Every one of Forest’s six league goals this season has come away from home.
They’ve failed to score in all four games at the City Ground, losing three of them. On the road it’s been a different story, with a 2-2 draw at Anfield and a 2-1 win at Villa Park on 12 September, which is still their only league win.
Ipswich on 23 October should have been their second. Forest had 17 shots to Ipswich’s seven at Portman Road, and Leif Davis cleared two efforts off the line, including one from Morgan Gibbs-White. Julio Enciso then intercepted a short Nikola Milenkovic backpass four minutes before half-time and slotted in at the near post, and it finished 1-1.
I’m not sold on Liam Delap yet. He had a handful of looks against his old club and didn’t take any of them, and Chris Wood only came on in stoppage time.
Team News: Williams is a doubt with an arm injury, and Dominguez is a doubt with a minor muscle problem. Jesus and Savona are out.
Predicted Lineup: Sels; Cunha, Milenkovic, Murillo; Munoz, Schlager, McAtee, Netz; Ndoye, Gibbs-White; Delap.
Brentford vs Nottingham Forest Stats and Trends

Brentford vs Nottingham Forest Prediction
This isn’t a straight forward tip.
Forest were much the better side at Ipswich, and I don’t think they’re a bottom-three team over a full season. My problem is the gap between how they’ve played and the results they’ve got, and a trip to Brentford is a tougher ask than Portman Road.
For me, home form decides it. Only Liverpool have won at the Gtech this season, and Forest’s back three will have Thiago and Ouattara running at them for 90 minutes.
Forest won 2-0 on each of their last two visits here, and that’s the stat pulling me the other way. I just don’t think their attack is close to that level right now.
I do think Forest score. They look far more comfortable going forward away from the City Ground, and Brentford have been open at the back for a couple of months now, so I’ve avoided the win-to-nil price.
I’m calling it 2-1 to Brentford. The midweek cup tie is a concern, and I wouldn’t be shocked if this ended in another 1-1. But I can’t see Brentford getting through 90 minutes without at least two good chances falling to Thiago.

Brentford vs Nottingham Forest - The Ultimate Bet
Brentford to Win @ $2.05
I’m happy to go simple here.
Forest have conceded at least once in seven of their eight league matches. Brentford have scored in all four of their home games, so I don’t see them drawing a blank on Sunday morning.
If the draw scares you off, Brentford draw no bet is the safer route. I’m taking the full price.
I’d look for a boost among this week’s betting promotions, but $2.05 is fine as it stands.
