Tottenham vs Crystal Palace Prediction: Betting Tips & Odds

Tottenham vs Crystal Palace Prediction
Tottenham welcome Crystal Palace to Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in the Premier League on Sunday morning NZT, with kickoff at 6:30am.
Tottenham were bottom of the table 10 days ago. Wins over Coventry and Chelsea have taken them up to 14th, while Palace have slipped to 17th and are only a point clear of the relegation zone.
I’ve got Tottenham as the likelier winner in this Tottenham vs Crystal Palace preview, but my best bet is on the goals line at a touch over $2. It’s worth checking the betting promotions on offer before you lock it in.
Tottenham vs Crystal Palace Analysis
Tottenham
Tottenham didn’t score a Premier League goal until Aston Villa visited on 19 September.
They’ve found more on attack since then. Omar Marmoush got his first goal for the club in the 3-1 win over Coventry on 19 October, and Mathys Tel was the best player at Stamford Bridge five days later. His solo goal in the 87th minute sealed a 2-0 win after Mike Penders had punched a corner into his own net.
I’d pump the brakes a little though. Chelsea were down to 10 men for the final stretch after Cole Palmer’s red card, and Tottenham’s home form is ordinary. They’ve won one of their four league games in north London this season.
I do like how they look with the ball to be fair. They had 66% possession against Coventry, and Sandro Tonali and Archie Gray give them a midfield pairing that can control games against sides who drop off.
Team News: Bentancur is suspended. Savio, Mudryk, Simons, Odobert, Bergvall and Richarlison are out, while Maddison, Udogie and Tosin are doubts.
Predicted Lineup: Kinsky; Porro, Van Hecke, Van de Ven, Robertson; Tonali, Gray; Kudus, Fernandes, Tel; Solanke.
Crystal Palace
Crystal Palace have conceded 19 goals in eight Premier League games, and seven of those came in their last two outings.
Losing 5-0 at Brighton on 18 October was bad enough. Their 2-0 home defeat to Newcastle a week later was flatter again, and they’ve now failed to score in four league games this term.
I wouldn’t write them off completely. They won 3-2 at Fulham in September after twice going a goal down, and Tyrick Mitchell scored that day. He leads their squad with two league goals.
Daichi Kamada has three assists already. Most of their better moments come through him and Adam Wharton, and anyone after football betting tips on a Palace player could do worse than his assist markets.
Team News: Riad, Tomiyasu, Timber and Sarr are out. Strand Larsen is a doubt.
Predicted Lineup: Henderson; Canvot, Disasi, Richards; Mingueza, Wharton, Kamada, Mitchell; Pino, McNeil; Mateta.

Tottenham vs Crystal Palace Prediction
Palace’s defence is the main reason I’m siding with Tottenham.
Palace also had a League Cup trip to Fulham on Thursday morning NZT, three days before this one. Pierre Sage made 10 changes from the side that lost to Newcastle, so his first-choice players should be fresh enough by Sunday.
My doubts about Tottenham are all about their home form. They’ve already lost to Newcastle and Villa in north London, and Palace have left with three points on each of their last two league visits, including a 3-1 win in March.
I can see this being tight for an hour. Tottenham have the better midfield, and Tel is in the sort of form where one moment from him could decide it. I’m going 2-0 to Tottenham.
BTTS at $1.67 doesn’t tempt me. Tottenham have conceded once in their last two league games, and I’d want a bigger price than that to back Palace to score away from home.
I’d only use Tottenham at $1.62 as a leg in a multi, which is easy enough to set up on the best sports betting apps NZ.

Tottenham vs Crystal Palace - The Ultimate Bet
Tottenham’s league games haven’t produced many goals this season. Five of their eight have finished with two goals or fewer, including the 0-2 loss to Newcastle and back-to-back 0-0s with Nottingham Forest and Everton.
Palace’s attack doesn’t give me much reason to expect a shootout either. They haven’t scored in their last two league games, and Jean-Philippe Mateta’s fitness is still a question, with reports before the Fulham cup tie saying he might only manage 60 or 70 minutes.
I’ll admit the 5-0 at Brighton has me a little nervous. If Palace fall apart early again, this one is in trouble.
A 1-0 or 2-0 home win looks likeliest to me, and $2.30 is a fair price for that.
