Sunday Racing Tips - Arawa Park 11/10/26

The Arawa Park card this Sunday is headlined by the Group 3 Sweyness Stakes.

Ahead of this and the first race we have run our eye through the card and picked out some of our best horse racing tips.

As well as our exclusive tips we have highlighted three races which look to be the most competitive of the day. Whether you want to back a short priced favourite, or a horse at longer odds, read on as we have every angle covered.

BEST BET – Vantage Point

In the opening contest of the card just five runners will take to post and it’s Vantage Point who is likely to lead the betting. Having raced just four times, he has won his last two in a nice style and will be hopeful of making it three in a row. He steps away from metro racing in order to do so and should be competitive.

THE DANGER – Spellbound

The obvious danger is Spellbound. Another who has experience and was a last time out winner, he also steps away from metro racing. His last win wasn’t quite at the level of Vantage Point’s so he might have a little to find.

VALUE BET – Delete Delete

With just five runners, attentions will turn towards newcomers and Delete Delete is the runner who stands out the most. Reasonably well bred he won’t have to be too special to compete here and he could be worth monitoring in the betting.

Twain – 16.00

BEST BET – Platinum Attack

Platinum Attack has spent the bulk of the last twelve months racing at the highest level and takes a step down in class here. Yet to place in any of his seven Group 1 races, he has won several competitive open handicap races and could build on the seventh he achieved in the Prosir Plate.

THE DANGER – Chatelle Rose

Chatelle Rose could be a real danger. Having won five of her twelve races, she has won four of her last five and arrives in great form. This is only her second start in graded company and she will want to build on her unplaced effort from last time.

VALUE BET – Twain

Twain is our value play of the race and he looks to hold a decent chance despite his double figure price. Having raced three Group 3 races, he has a win and a placed effort and could well go again here. He is drawn inside and shouldn’t have to do much to find the front. He is one to watch.

BEST BET – Levakia

Levakia looks like a leading contender for Sunday’s Staphanos Classic at Arawa Park. Despite finishing fourth and fifth in his last two races, the step up to 1950m here should suit, having previously won over 2200m at Ellerslie. Michael McNab takes the ride and she looks well placed to return to winning ways.

THE DANGER – One Bold Cat

One Bold Cat could be a danger. The Robbie Patterson-trained gelding won the Listed Marton Cup over 2200m and should be able to hand this distance with no problem. He ran on well to finish fifth in the Group 3 Metric Mile last time out and has Craig Grylls on board. Plenty to like.

VALUE BET – Diamond Jak

Diamond Jak is our long shot play of the day. He heads into this race in great form having won three of his last four starts. He has won 11 races throughout his career and will love conditions. He has a wide draw to contend with but should find himself right in the mix.
