Quick Analysis:

Kicking off the day with the last race on the card at Hawkesbury, I think the favourite, Brave Xena, will be difficult to beat. She kicked off her prep last time out with a solid third placing at Randwick, only 0.55L off the leader. That result was from a wide barrier as well, and she gets barrier three this time out. I reckon she’ll be fitter for that run under her belt, and she’s one-from-one when second-up.

Quick Analysis:

Heading over to Kyneton now, and Habitual still has a smidge of value about him. He had absolutely no luck last time out, but still finished strongly to take fourth place. Looking at the speed map, we could see a fast tempo here, which suits the 5YO who will be jumping wide. Linda Meech, who won on Habitual two runs back, jumps into the saddle once again.

Quick Analysis:

In the final race of the day at Kyneton, I’m looking at Money Honey to get back into the winner’s circle. The filly kicked off this prep with her maiden win at Casterton, and then I think Andrew Bobbin put her in a couple of difficult races. She’ll have a go at a BM56 this time out, which looks to be very doable, even from the wide draw. She also gets blinkers on for the first time, so take the $3.30 while you still can!

  • Addriel has a decent enough record here at Ipswich, plus he steps down to non-metro company. He can make his track record count at each-way odds in Race 5 at Ipswich.
  • Nomorenightshift backs up after just six days and comes from a good stable. He can handle the quick turnaround in Race 5 at Orange.
  • Inyun looks well set up for this run and won when second-up at Dubbo last prep. She can make her second-up record count in Race 7 at Orange.
