Quick Analysis:

Tempted does look difficult to beat in the Champions Sprint, but if anyone can beat the mare, it’s Joliestar. She’s certainly a star, and at $4.80, I’ll be taking her at each-way odds, just to play it safe. Most recently, the mare finished third in The Everest, just 0.58L behind her main rival Tempted. The wide draw is a bit annoying, but her ability to finish strongly means she’s always in the fight.

We’re once again looking at Winx-type odds for Autumn Glow, and there’s absolutely no value around her, but there’s a reason for that. It could be beneficial to look for betting specials around the mare, or adding her to exotics/ multis. The 5YO has a career record of 15:14-0-1. Barrier two. Chris Waller/ JMac combo. Nothing else really needs to be said about her.

Quick Analysis:

Wrapping up today with the Champions Stakes, and I reckon I’ve found a value play with Omni Man. The gelding is currently going around with double-digit odds, but I believe he’s good enough for a top three finish here. He progresses from a Group 3 up to this one, but he did finish strongly for third in the Geelong Cup. The form coming out of that one has stood up, and he gets back to 2,000m, which looks ideal.

Stats and Insights

  • Lazzura is chasing a hat-trick after consecutive wins at Randwick and Rosehill Gardens (both at Group 2 level). She can extend her winning streak in Race 7 at Rosehill.
  • Declichy Boulevard finished strongly to win at Randwick last start and has recorded two victories from four starts this campaign. She can continue her winning form in Race 8 at Rosehill.
  • Gospel Girl won at Eagle Farm last time out on a Heavy track. She’s good enough to pop up there at each-way odds in Race 9 at Eagle Farm.
