Quick Analysis:

Ballet D'light is my pick for Race 4 today at Warwick Farm. The filly is a last-start winner after claiming a victory at Rosehill two weeks ago. That win means she’s one-from-one so far in her career, and while this one looks to be a considerable step up, she’s capable and does have the weight advantage over some of her key rivals. With James McDonald in the saddle again, she’ll go close.

Quick Analysis:

I think there’s a smidge of value around So You Are in the Bendigo Cup today. The gelding has won his last three starts in a row, including two Group 3s, the Colin Stephen Quality and the St Leger Stakes. Rachel King was on board for one of their Group 3 wins, and she’s back in the saddle for this one. They draw barrier one, which puts them over the edge in my eyes.

Top Pick:

Quick Analysis:

Wrapping up the day in Eagle Farm, I think Mirra Impact should prove too good. The gelding went close last time out at Eagle Farm, finishing second to Samarelle in a BM78. This one looks to be an easier affair, and I don’t think the 6YO will have any issues with the Heavy-rated track. From barrier three, Michael Rodd (who was on board last time out) should have several options.

Stats and Insights

  • She's A Splinter finished third at Northam first-up last start and comes from a strong stable. She can build on that promising return and challenge for the win in Race 3 at Belmont.
  • Shalhavmusik comes off a win at Gawler last start and looks capable of building on that performance. She can make it back-to-back victories in Race 6 at Murray Bridge.
  • Scully finished three lengths behind the winner at Ascot last start and should benefit from improved fitness. He can bounce back with a stronger performance in Race 7 at Belmont.
