Quick Analysis:

The mare comes into this one as the favourite, but it’s easy to see why. Nova Centauri is looking for back-to-back wins here at Muswellbrook after taking out the win at Scone last time out. Plus, she’s got just 55kg on her back. She does draw the widest barrier of them all, but it isn’t exactly a big field, so that’s not as much of a negative as it could be.

Heading to Pakenham Synthetic, and I have my eye on Twisted Love, who is currently the narrow favourite but still presents a smidge of value around the $3.50 mark. The 5YO hasn’t really had things go her way in her two runs so far this prep, so she’s due for a bit of luck. Her first-up run at Mornington was particularly impressive, as she finished strongly behind Coronationhercules for second place.

Quick Analysis:

My final best bet of the day comes in the last race at Warwick Farm. I think this looks like a much easier assignment for Street Artist, and he looks hard to beat here. He draws the rails, which is another big tick, and Zac Lloyd retains the ride as well. I think there’s more value in Street Artist at the moment compared to the favourite, Whatalegacy. Take the 4YO for the win, or play it safe with an each-way bet.

  • Barrelling has a good record at Doomben and comes from a quality stable. He can make his track experience count in Race 5 at Doomben.
  • Taupo Tiger won at Gawler last start and has two wins from 12 starts this campaign. He can continue his winning form in Race 6 at Gawler.
