THE DANGER – Chataya

In a race where there look to be few threats, Chataya looks the main concern to the favourite. Winless in five races, she did at least finish third last time out and could build on that here.

VALUE BET – Bold Bernie

Bold Bernie has had one start and flattered to deceive in seventh place. We will hope that she would have come on from that run and could be closer to the principles this time around. At odds of 26.00 she requires a big leap of faith.

Oscar will start the race as the heavy favourite. A ten-race maiden, he has finished in second in each of his last three starts and his time to win is close. This could be the race where it finally comes together.

VALUE BET – Good Craic

Good Craic is yet to win in any of his fifteen starts but has a 40% place rate. Although he doesn’t win, he usually gives his running and should be on the premises once again.
