There are a few live chances in this one, but I’m sticking with Jaegers, who continues to improve. It was a tough one in the Group 3 Bell Stakes last time out, where she finished near the rear of the pack. But this one looks a hell of a lot easier. She also draws barrier two, and Tommy Berry jumps into the saddle. There’s a lot to like, including the price.

Quick Analysis:

Staying in Kensington, and I think Pasadena looks excellent value. The gelding draws wide in a big field, but I just can’t pass up on the $6.50 that we’re currently getting for him. He was very impressive last time out, breaking his maiden at Geelong. The market can’t find a clear runner to get behind, and Pasadena is certainly worth a shout.

Heading to Horsham for my final best bet of the day, and I’ll be on Brazenga. The gelding has been improving nicely so far this prep, and last time out, he bagged the win at Geelong, which was also in a BM56. The wide barrier is a bit annoying, but he does have the speed in the tank to overcome that. Eoin Walsh sticks, and the pair can make it two from two.
