Sticking with the favourite here with Larado. We haven’t seen the gelding since February, but he has had two recent trials, and he looks ready to fire. He is two-for-two in his career so far when tackling a race first-up as well. Regular rider, Daniel Moor, saddles up once again, and in this company, he should be winning this, even from the wide barrier draw.

With a career record of 10:3-4-0, Decalogue looks like the clear class runner in this one today at Caulfield. The gelding is currently on a hat-trick of wins, getting the better of his competition at Newcastle, Randwick, and most recently, Flemington. This will be his first crack at the Caulfield track, but he does get 3kg off his back, thanks to apprentice jockey Jabez Johnstone.

Aye Aye Captain presents decent enough value at around the $5.00 mark in the last race of the day at Randwick. She kicked off her prep with a win at Warwick Farm, and last time out, she finished strongly to end up third at Rosehill. She gets another go at a BM78 and gets a much more favourable draw this time out, which should set her up very well.
