Quick Analysis:

Lady Thinkabell has been performing very well so far this prep, and I think she’s ready for another win. She goes from a BM62 last time out to a BM74 in this one, but there isn’t a lot of depth, so she’ll be up to her eyeballs in this one. Doesn’t have to carry much on her back and draws fairly well. The extra 100m in this race should suit her as well.

Quick Analysis:

Switching over to the Randwick Kensington track now, and I’ll be on Surf’s Up. Another Chris Waller and James McDonald pairing should be profitable in this one, and Surf’s Up is currently the favourite. We haven’t seen the filly since she ran in the Group 3 Red Roses Stakes, where she finished midfield. She’s been back at the trials since and has a win there, which sets her up nicely.

Quick Analysis:

Ending the day back at Sandown, and it’s hard to go past Factcheck. The gelding draws barrier one, which will be a big help to Craig Williams. The 4YO comes into this one in form, with a recent win at Pakenham, and last time out, he finished second, just 0.15L off the leader, also at Pakenham. This will be his second time in a row at the mile, and natural improvement is to be expected.

Stats and Insights

  • Dismantle has trialled well leading in and has the speed to overcome a wide draw. She looks a serious player in Race 6 at Eagle Farm.
  • Cruizingthestars is unbeaten in two runs and scored last start at Goulburn on a soft track. A top chance to continue the streak in Race 6 at Canberra.
  • Krumac was narrowly beaten as favourite last start at Toowoomba and should strip fitter. He looks a key chance at decent enough odds in Race 8 at Eagle Farm.
