Quick Analysis:

Sticking with the favourite here in Race 6 at Dubbo. Not Written Off comes into this one second-up, and her run last time out at Muswellbrook (finishing second by just 0.7L) was good enough to warrant favouritism. I think she’ll get a better run in transit this time out from barrier five. Mitchell Bell takes over in the saddle, and the pair have won together previously.

It’s currently rated a Heavy10 at Taree, and I’m sticking with Rebel Rhapsody, who has one win on Heavy-rated tracks in three attempts. The gelding has been improving with every run, and he already has a win and a second placing this prep. He looked the winner for a bit last time out, but ultimately went down by just 0.15L. The 4YO gets in well at the weights as well.

Quick Analysis:

Wrapping things up in Swan Hill with Ka Ying Cheer. There are a couple of live chances in this one, which is why I think we’re getting decent enough value for the 6YO. He is deep into this prep and has been racing well, but without a lot of luck. He does boast a win and two placings so far, but it could have been so much more. He is due for some luck and can overcome the wide draw to take this one out.

Stats and Insights

  • Presocratics is a proven Rockhampton performer with multiple wins at the track. He looks ideally placed in Race 3 at Rockhampton.
  • Cryptology was narrowly beaten at Rockhampton last start after finishing strongly. He looks the runner to beat in Race 6 at Rockhampton.
  • Yesspecially won on debut at Taree, has already shown an affinity for the track. He gets every chance to remain unbeaten in Race 7 at Taree.
