Quick Analysis:

Starting the day in Seymour, and I can’t see any runner other than the favourite, Plunger, taking this one out. We haven’t seen the gelding since February, when he won at Pakenham. He has had several trials since then, including three last month. Those trials were as good as we could have hoped for, and he gets a 3kg weight relief with Liana Wood on board.

Quick Analysis:

Warrior Bae has been there or thereabouts throughout this prep, including a win in Ballina and two top-three finishes. The 4YO stepped up to a BM66 last time out, and while he finished midfield, his closing sectionals were impressive. It’s a pretty open field today at Lismore, so we’re picking up some decent enough value, and he gets in reasonably well at the weights.

Wrapping things up in the final race of the day in Hawkesbury with Concrete Storm. The 3YO is currently the favourite, and from barrier one, it’s hard to see anyone toppling him. He broke his maiden last time out at Newcastle, and looks primed to go two-from-two. Zac Lloyd, who was on board two runs back, steps into the saddle once again, and Concrete Storm has the advantage of just 56kg on his back.
