Quick Analysis:

Plenty of live chances in this one, but Lady Shenandoah does present some decent value with the mare going around at each-way odds. The 5YO will lug around the top weight in the Group 2 Sheraco Stakes, but has recent form at Group 1 level, and is a three-time winner as well. She’ll be fitter for that run in the Winx Stakes under her belt. She does draw wide, but she’s classy enough, and at good odds as well.

Quick Analysis:

Sheza Alibi is short, yes, but can anyone realistically topple her? I don’t think so. If you’re not keen on the $1.55 that’s currently on offer, look to add her as your multi anchor. She’ll be carrying just 56.5kg on her back, and this looks like a great opportunity to chalk up her third win at Group 1 level. She’s got fitness on her side, and from barrier seven, she can steer clear of any trouble.

Quick Analysis:

Ending the day at Kembla Grange, and I think I’ve found another around each-way odds in Pappa Blue. He comes into this one second-up after finishing third, 1L off the pace, at this track last time out. The gelding was paying $9.50 for that one, so we’re getting shorter odds, but he should take natural improvement/ fitness into this one. Adam Farragher sticks as well.

Stats and Insights

  • Oliveanotherday is in excellent form after winning first-up at Caulfield last start. He can carry that winning momentum as the clear favourite in Race 7 at Flemington.
  • Central Europe has placed in all three career starts, including a fresh third at Rosehill last start. He can maintain that consistent form in Race 8 at Rosehill Gardens.
  • Gold Coast Belle is chasing a fifth straight win after scoring at Sandown Hillside last start. She can continue her winning streak in Race 9 at Flemington.
