Quick Analysis:

Starting the day off in Wagga, I’m sticking with the favourite, Bombay Boom, who has drawn the rails. The gelding is looking for back-to-back wins after a dominant victory in Corowa last time out. He’ll have to carry the top weight, but he is still good enough to put this field away, and Nick Heywood jumps into the saddle.

Quick Analysis:

Just a field of seven runners now, thanks to a scratching, and I think Dunquin will be too good for this group. The 4YO has kicked off this prep with back-to-back second placings, and things look more aligned for the gelding this time out. Aaron Bullock retains the ride, and they’ll be looking to stay out of trouble from barrier six.

Quick Analysis:

Wrapping the day up in the last race at Kilmore with Bajaria. The mare will have to overcome the wide barrier, but I reckon she’s up for the challenge. She kicked off her prep last time out with a fourth, and she’ll be fitter for that run under her belt. Ben Allen is in the saddle once again, and they come in light at the weights; she’s a big chance.

  • Royal Rendezvous has trialled and won since last racing about a month ago and comes from a good stable. He can make a strong return in Race 5 at Kilmore.
  • The Mighty Bell resumes from a 53-week spell and has trialled since his last run. She’s a danger in this race at big double-digit odds in Race 5 at Bunbury.
  • Surround Me comes from the Grant and Alana Williams stable and returns to non-metro company. She can make the class relief count in Race 8 at Bunbury.
