Quick Analysis:

Sticking with Ellismayne today in Goulburn, the gelding has performed decently so far in his short career. He finished down the order last time out when kicking off this prep, but I think he’ll be fitter for that run under his belt. The gelding is already a winner second-up, so that bodes well for this one. Drawing barrier three is another step in the right direction.

Quick Analysis:

Switching over to Wyong now, and in the last of the day, I’ll be on Sarapo. There are a couple of live chances in this one, but Sarapo is still the favourite, at decent odds as well. He has been good so far this prep without being about to break through for a win. With four third placings in a row, I think it’s time the 3YO broke through for a win.

Quick Analysis:

The $1.65 we’re currently getting for Desert Ora isn’t exactly a lot to write home about, but I really don’t see any others in this one challenging her. The filly only just broke her maiden at this track and trip, and jockey Tash Faithfull sticks with her once again. They draw barrier three, which will be a big help in a decently sized field. Should be going back-to-back here.

Stats and Insights

  • Cinturato has metro form and has been competitive this prep, including a second placing at Sandown Lakeside. He can challenge in Race 3 at Warrnambool.
  • Looks went extremely close as the narrow favourite last start and comes from a strong stable. He looks like the one to beat in Race 7 at Albany.
  • Sir Atlas comes off a strong win and should be suited again here, going for the hat-trick. He looks a leading chance in Race 8 at Warrnambool.
