Kicking things off today in Gosford, and I reckon Probability Theory can get the job done. She’s the favourite, but there is still a smidge of value about here. With back-to-back wins at Hawkesbury, she jumped up to a Group 3 last time out, but didn’t really fire. She was sent for a spell and has been at the trials since. Tackling this one first up, and looks set to fire.

Quick Analysis:

Southland looks too hard to hold out at Geraldton today. He has to carry the top weight, but has that little bit of class about him, so that shouldn’t be any concern. We’ve seen the 4YO multiple times here at Geraldton, including wins and places. Troy Turner, who was on board last time out, retains the ride. Should be an easy watch for punters.

For my final best bet of the day, I’m in Pakenham. Kiwi Raider is the clear pick for me, and her recent jump out did impress. She couldn’t fire first-up, but did have that trial in between, so keen to see what she’s able to do here. Not the best odds you’ll ever find, but probably one to include in multis before she shortens any further.

Stats and Insights

  • Colours Of Autumn has a strong record at Cairns and has consistently delivered as a favourite. She looks the one they all have to beat in Race 4 at Cairns.
  • Vierville has been competitive this prep and scored a win at Scone a few runs back. He looks capable of bouncing back into the finish in Race 6 at Taree.
  • Coppabella Road has the speed to offset a wide draw and has shown ability this prep. He looks well placed to run a big race in Race 8 at Cairns.
