It looks like a two-horse race in this one, but it’s hard for me to go past Mister Rizz. The gelding will have his first run in Australia in this one, and he has been producing decent results in the UK and Europe, with a win and three placings to his name already across only six starts. He has trailed in Australia, so I think he’ll hit the ground running.

Staying in Scone for my second best bet, and I’ve got my eye on Formal Display. With a couple of scratchings, the gelding has booked his spot in this field. Drawing the widest barrier of them all isn’t that helpful, but you can’t knock his winning form (three wins in a row to date). Plus, he’ll be going around with just 54kg on his back. He should get the job done.

Quick Analysis:

Heading to Pakenham for my final best bet of the day, and Yes I Know looks the one to be on. He produced a solid third last time out, and he didn’t get that race all his way. He should be fitter for that run under his belt, and gets a decent draw, jumping from barrier four. I wouldn’t be surprised if the money keeps coming for him, so get while the going is good.
