The favourite looks too good to hold out in Race 4 at Parkes. She showed just what she was made of last time out, breaking her maiden at the Sapphire Coast. She also hasn’t finished worse than third so far in her three-run career. Jockey Claire Ramsbotham is back in the saddle, and the pair draw barrier one once again. Winning combo.

Heading to Casterton now, and I think the market has it right with Golden Garden. He managed to get the job done last time out at Warrnambool, and Dean Parker sticks with the 8YO here. He also has a decent record at this track, with two wins and two placings. It’s a small field, and I think he’ll show his class today.

Quick Analysis:

Wrapping up the day in Queanbeyan with Shyamalan. It looks like a two-horse race in the markets, but I think the gelding can get the job done over Sweet Treats. Shyamalan has been in great form so far this prep, with a win and multiple placings. I don’t expect the rise to 1,600m will be of any concern to him, especially considering the draw.

  • Dont Wait For Luck comes off a strong win at Kalgoorlie and has a solid record at the track. He looks well placed in Race 5 at Kalgoorlie.
  • Bit Of Shoosh finished strongly to win last start at Sale to make it two victories on the bounce. He looks the leading hope again here in Race 6 at Sale.
  • Instead has been ultra-consistent this campaign with multiple wins and placings. He looks the horse to beat in Race 7 at Parkes.
