Quick Analysis:

Kicking the day off in Narromine, and I think Angie’s Sister has this one in the bag. There’s already been several scratchings, probably thanks to the Heavy10 track, so this field isn’t as big. The mare comes into this one second up after a third placing at Warren. Izzy Neale sticks with the 4YO here, and she brings a 1.5kg weight relief with her.

Heading to Goulburn now, and this one looks like a pretty open field, but I do have my eye on Magenta Shores. The mare has been fairly consistent so far in her career, and she has already raced twice here at Goulburn twice in her short career, placing on both occasions. She put in a brave effort last time out in what looked like a difficult race; this one should be a lot easier for her.

Quick Analysis:

Harry's Halo just needs two more scratchings to make it into the field for this one, but he is still the current favourite. He’s got pedigree coming out of his ears, and kicked off this prep with a solid third placing at Wyong. Adam Farragher takes over in the saddle, and the pair draw barrier six, which looks ideal. He has the class to win this if he gets a chance.

Stats and Insights

  • Blackthorn remains unbeaten after an impressive first-up victory at Townsville and looks to have plenty of upside. He sets the standard in Race 3 at Townsville.
  • Khumbila arrives off a strong Townsville victory and has an excellent record at the track. He looks capable of scoring at big odds in Race 7 at Townsville.
  • Kakoda should improve sharply after a fresh run at Scone and comes from a stable with a strong strike rate. She looks ready to produce a big performance in Race 8 at Narromine.
