Quick Analysis:

Think I’ve locked in a winner at decent enough odds with Deal N' Dash today at Warwick Farm. There’s already been four scratchings, so he’ll come in one place from the wide barrier draw. The 4YO tackles this one first-up and has been tuned up for this with two trials. He has won first-up before in his short career, and the weight he has to lug around isn’t the worst.

Quick Analysis:

Heading over to Ballarat now, and Tan Tat Delight is the one they’ll all have to catch in my eyes. It’s a small field, with just seven runners, and the market doesn’t really know what it’s doing, so the $4.00 on offer for the filly is pretty good. Her performance last time out was a pass mark, but I liked the way she finished, and that was on a Heavy track. She’ll be fitter for that run and should go well.

Quick Analysis:

Rounding out my best bets with Astronomix, who is currently the favourite in Race 7 at Warwick Farm. The gelding picks up a 2kg weight relief thanks to apprentice jockey Anna Roper, as well. He tackles this one first-up, and his most recent trial was here at this track. The 3YO has a career record of 3:1-1-1, and the barrier draw is decent enough, especially based on the speed map.

Stats and Insights

  • Braveheart has been racing consistently all campaign with four placings and proven form. He looks ideally placed to break through once again in Race 3 at Doomben.
  • Lady Lucifer boasts strong metropolitan form and should strip much fitter after her first-up run at Doomben. She looks ready to bounce back in Race 6 at Doomben.
  • Sisu Spirit resumes from a spell with a solid trial under her belt and looks well placed fresh. He can make a winning return in Race 8 at Pinjarra Scarpside.
