I think Alleze is worth a shout at pretty good odds right now. He broke his maiden the first time of asking, and then backed that performance up last time out with another win at Grafton. He trailed well in the lead up to that run, and I’m expecting further improvement. He draws wide-ish, but gets a weight relief thanks to Amelia Heinrich.

Quick Analysis:

Heading over to Mornington now, and it’s hard for me to see anyone toppling the favourite. The filly has a career record of 8:1-2-2, and most of her work has come at Good-rated tracks, which she should get again today. She draws well, and while the $2.10 currently on offer is a little thin, I think she’ll only shorten further.

Quick Analysis:

For my final best bet of the day, I’ll be on Think Back, who’s racing today at Quirindi. Another one who’s a smidge skinny in terms of the odds, but with back-to-back wins at Muswellbrook and Armidale, she looks ripe for the hat-trick. I can’t see anyone else coming close, especially from barrier two. Mikayla Weir sticks as well. A lot of ticks.

  • Moet At Midnight draws perfectly and has already won this prep. He looks a strong winning chance in Race 6 at Ballina.
  • Honey Maker finished strongly to win last start and has been in good form this campaign. She looks well placed again in Race 6 at Mornington.
  • Kirksville was dominant breaking maiden first-up and comes from a solid stable. He looks a leading chance in Race 7 at Warwick.
