Quick Analysis:

Starting the day with an each-way play at Nowra, and I’m looking at Zou Force. The gelding comes into this one in good form after a recent win and second placing (by just 0.22L), both at Wagga. The drop back from 1,400m to 1,200m looks ideal, and she was scratched from a race at Wagga for this one, so trainer Matthew Dale obviously rates his chances.

Quick Analysis:

Heading over to Pakenham Synthetic now, and I’m ready to bag one late in the day with Lady Elsa. It’s a fairly open field, but I do like the value that Lady Elsa provides. The mare has had back-to-back runs at this track, finishing sixth both times. She draws a lot better this time out, and I think this will really help her racing style. Jett Stanley gets another go in the saddle as well.

Quick Analysis:

Finishing up with another each-way play in the last race of the day at Dubbo. It’s Shamedy time to shine, and he comes into this one in some decent form, with a win and a third placing last time out. He draws better than he did last time out, so he should hopefully settle well, and will have enough time to reel them all in down the finishing straight. Take him for the win, or play it safe with the each-way bet.

Stats and Insights

  • Tartan Tiger has been consistent this prep and has the speed to overcome the wide barrier. She can finish strongly to pop in a great result in Race 5 at Kilcoy.
  • Royaltown should strip fitter after returning at Canberra Acton and has placed previously when second-up. He can improve sharply into this race in Race 7 at Nowra.
  • Resolute Lady gets a favourable draw and looks well placed to make an impact in this company. She can take advantage of the ideal setup in Race 7 at Kilcoy.
