Quick Analysis:

De Joker is the narrow favourite in a decent-sized field. The gelding cracked through to break his maiden on the third time of asking last time out at Bathurst, and I think he looks capable of going on with it here. It was a completely dominant win (by over 6L), and while this does look more difficult, he has the class to win again.

Quick Analysis:

Not a massive fan of the wide draw, but I Said So did break his maiden at this track and trip last time out. He won that one in March by almost 2L. Since then, he has had a tick over trial, with Jason Maskiell on board again. Jason Maskiell lines up for this one as well, and the pair seem to have a good thing going.

Quick Analysis:

In the last race of the day at Quirindi, I think I’ve found a smidge of value with Snatchreilly, who is currently going around at each-way odds. The 5YO kicked off his prep last time out at Tamworth, with a third placing, just 0.82L off the leader. He’ll be fitter for that run under his belt and looks ready to fire second-up from barrier three.

  • Almanzas returns from a spell after an impressive trial win and looks primed for a bold first-up showing. He shapes as the one to beat in Race 4 at Quirindi.
  • Infinite Prince returns to non-metro company and boasts an excellent record at Mount Isa. He looks well placed to produce a winning performance in Race 4 at Mount Isa.
  • Viburnum has put together an excellent campaign with three placings and boasts a strong record at Mount Isa. He looks capable of popping up there at each-way odds in Race 7 at Mount Isa.
