Quick Analysis:

I’m sticking with Spiritualistic for my first best bet of the day as the mare presents decent enough value, currently going around at each-way odds. The 5YO has been pretty consistent so far this prep, and missed out by the narrowest of margins (0.01L) last time out at Hawkesbury. This one is also a BM64, and she has the class to pop up there against this field.

Quick Analysis:

Heading to Moruya now, and I think I’ve found another each-way play with Exceed Success. The gelding has been at this track for his previous two runs, where he finished fourth on both occasions. With those runs under his belt at this track, I think it could be a case of third time’s the charm. Brodie Loy steps back into the saddle, and they are capable of getting the job done in an open field.

Quick Analysis:

Wrapping today (and the week) up in Ballarat with Andy Win. The narrow favourite is looking for back-to-back wins after taking a race at Sandown Lakeside. He seems to do some of his best work on a Heavy-rated track (11:5-4-0), and this one will be in the Heavy range as well. Tom Ryan retains the ride, and I still think they win despite the wide barrier (it might be the place to be late in the day on a Heavy track).

  • Yes I Believe has a win and two placings this campaign and gets a favourable draw for this assignment. He can make the most of his consistent form in Race 4 at Carnarvon.
  • Andi Don't Care resumes from a 21-week spell and has been geared up for this with two recent trials. She can make an immediate impact fresh in Race 5 at the Sunshine Coast.
  • Kandinsky broke through with a strong win at Bendigo last start and now steps up to 1,600m. He can continue his progression over the longer trip in Race 7 at Pakenham Synthetic.
