The market isn’t too sure what it’s doing for this one, but that means we’re picking up some decent value around Autumn Slide. This looks to be a tough race, but I reckon the mare is good enough to get the job done. She’ll be tackling this one third-up, and the step up to 1,800m seems to suit as well. Gets a 2kg weight relief, which puts her over the edge for mine.

Staying in Caulfield, I like the look of Tres Magnafique in Race 6. Yes, there is no real value around filly, but she’s one to add to your multi or exotics. She’s looking for the hat-trick of wins here after winning in Bendigo first-up and then at Sandown Lakeside last time out. Draws wide, but Craig Williams retains the ride, and the pair have a good thing going.

My final best bet of the day comes in the last at Kembla Grange. It’s hard to go past Glastonbury Girl for this one, and the price is inviting as well. She finished third first-up at Hawkesbury last time out, only 0.37L off the leader. Stays at BM64 level, and Jason Collett will be on board once again. They’ll just need even luck to overcome the wide barrier.
