Isawyou is looking for back-to-back wins after breaking his maiden at Illawarra Grange as the $1.45 favourite. We’re betting more value for the 4YO this time out, and I’m happy that Alysha Collett is sticking with him here. The widest barrier of them all doesn’t really concern me because it’s pretty clear Isawyou is a classy runner. Should be putting his competitors away here.

Quick Analysis:

Heading to Warrnambool now, and it’s hard for me to see anyone else beating the favourite. Not really a fan of tipping maidens, but Empress Rossa has really caught my eye. She has kicked off her career with back-to-back second placings at this track and Hamilton last time out. Both those runs have come on Heavy10s, and we’re getting more of the same today. Looks like the third time’s the charm.

Quick Analysis:

Hoping to bag a little bit of value with Narbold late in the day at Hawkesbury. The gelding has been a bit unlucky so far this prep, and has two seconds (by 0.06L and 0.05L) and one third in his last three runs. He has the weight advantage against a lot of his competitors, and Tommy Berry steps into the saddle. They are good enough to overcome the wide draw.

  • Publicise drops back to non-metro company and has already recorded a win at Ascot this preparation. She can make the class relief count in Race 5 at Pinjarra.
  • Five Star King returns from a freshen-up after a third at Mackay and looks well suited in this grade. He can build on that placing with another strong performance in Race 5 at Mackay.
  • Hot Digity Boom should improve after his first-up run at Townsville. He can produce a much sharper performance in Race 6 at Mackay.
